According to the statistics from Statistical Office of the European Union, Czech volume of goods trade was USD154.81 billion from January to June in 2016, up 5.7% year-on-year (the same below). Exports grew by 6.9% to USD83.50 billion, and imports grew by 4.3% to USD71.31 billion. The trade surplus was USD12.19 billion, up 25.1% from last year.

In June, Czech volume of goods trade grew by 1.8% to USD26.74 billion. Exports grew by 2.5% to USD14.42 billion and imports grew by 0.9% to USD12.32 billion. And the trade surplus grew by 12.6% to USD2.10 billion.

Since January to June, bilateral trade volume between Czech and China grew by 1.2% to USD6.06 billion. Czech exports to China fell by 5.4% to USD0.91 billion. It accounted for 1.1% of Czech overall export, down 0.1%. And Czech imports from China grew by 2.5% to USD5.15 billion. It accounted for 7.2% of Czech overall imports, down 0.2% over the previous year. Czech trade deficit with China grew by 4.4% to USD4.24 billion.

China was the eighteenth export market of Czech and the third largest source of imports up to June in 2016.
