Tung Ho Steel, one of the major construction steel product manufacturers and electric furnace mills in Taiwan, has announced its combine sales revenue from this January to February was NT$5.544 billion, down by 5.85% year on year.

However, since Tung Ho has announced to raise its steel section prices by NT$500/ton and longer working days in this month, the market analyst expected Tung Ho may have better sales in the first quarter of this year.

Although the current global scrap price could not stay firmly, the scrap cost and the actual market demand may still push Taiwan's rebar price to go up in short term and help Tung Ho's sales to grow in the first half of this year.
