METALLOINVEST has announced its shareholders' restructuring on December 29th 2012.

It said “Following a series of transactions among the companies of METALLOINVEST and its shareholders, including VTB Group, Metalloinvest Ltd, a subsidiary of METALLOINVEST Holding Company OJSC, acquired a 24% stake in METALLOINVEST Holding Company OJSC.”

It added “VTB Group sold its stake in METALLOINVEST Holding Company OJSC, and USM Holdings acquired control over all 100% shares of METALLOINVEST Holding Company OJSC.”

METALLOINVEST is wholly owned by USM Holdings. Alisher Usmanov is the major beneficiary of USM Holdings (60%), with other beneficiaries - the companies of Vladimir Skoch and Farhad Moshiri - owning 30% and 10%, respectively.
