The grinding chamber comprises one fixed and one rotating 200mm diameter grinding plate turning about a horizontal axis. The internal surfaces of the grinding chamber are smooth faced and easily accessed and cleaned between samples. Product size is controlled by the gap between the two plates. A simple screw adjustment is used to set the gap. 

The operating capacity of the disc pulveriser depends upon the gap setting, fed size and the crushing properties of the ore being processed. The Yosion Labtech Disc Pulveriser can be supplied as an option mounted on a specially built bench complete with dust extraction hoods for dust free operation.
