2.Secondary Steel Work Fabrication

Besides of the main steel members, secondary part is also important in our job scope. Although we have invested in CNC machinery, much of our fabrication still relies on our skilled platers and welders and we specialise in the more intricate secondary metalwork allied to bigger projects, including facades, lean-to units and canopies.

3.Our International certification

We look to have a pro-active approach with safety initiatives and in recent times have embraced initiatives such as secondary guarding devices for MEWPs and are working towards "fit to work" certification ahead of UKCG requirements.

 

4.Shot blasting is important step in the production.

For many Steelwork Contractors, sections and plates are shot blasted prior to fabrication, although some chose to carry out the shot blasting after the sections are cut to length. This surface preparation is an important part of the fabrication process, which is essential to provide a suitably clean finish for welding and subsequently also to produce a keyed surface ready to accept paint.
